Describe the bug

When conducting a diffraction calibration and entering a run corresponding to a non-existent state, a pop up appears with "warning! This run numbner...initialize it?".

If user presses "yes", the "Initialize Menu" pop up appears. But all fields here are uneditable.

The user has to press "yes" again on the original pop-up, creating a new instance of "initialization window" that is now editable.

The original non-editable Initialization window must then be closed manually.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

Instructions as above.

  1. Specify which version/branch is used.
    next rc8 as deployed
  2. Describe the steps needed to trigger the error, including a link to necessary testing file if applicable.

I encountered with run 58329, but a different run will be needed to replicate as this run now has an existing state.

  1. Describe the errors, and copy-and-paste the error messages is applicable.
  2. Mentioning the developer related (by checking Git history) or one of the maintainers directly.

Expected behavior
A clear and concise description of what you expected to happen.

Screenshots
If applicable, add screenshots to help explain your problem.

Environment (please complete the following information):

  • OS: [e.g. Ubuntu]
  • Version [e.g. 22]

Additional context
Add any other context about the problem here.

It is not only state initialization, it also happens with error messages. Glad no one has seen one yet!
