Tested on c.nc.com. I have a wired {TALK_PLACEHOLDER} folder in my Nextcloud:

It is empty, when I delete it it comes back a few hours/days later.

It's a bug in server coming from changes to the mountpoint logic

cc @provokateurin so the long term plan was to stop using the placeholder and simply cheat the location when adding the user share, right?

Yes, but I looked into it and it requires quite some refactoring in server and Talk and Deck.
TBH I went a bit down a rabbit hole and started designing and prototyping a new unified sharing system for nextcloud/server#51803 that would get rid of this problem entirely.
