Description
Describe the bug
As it can bee see, the aboce list element gets treated like a link, with it's three dot menu, but the lower element doesn't, because it's not exclusively a link.
When enabling link preview and disabling it again, the list element is broken:
| enable Link Preview | Disable Link Preview again |
|---|---|
![]() |
![]() |
I am not sure, whether the thing with breaking list items related to link preview is resolved in NC 32 already (?)
But the inconsisten treatment of link is confusing for user (Why does one element hav the options and the other one doesn't?) and imho it looks ugly, too ...
To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
- Create list (Text only is selected by default)
- Enable Preview
- Disable Preview again
- See error
Expected behavior
I think we could get rid of the three-dot-menu at the side and insead introduce a much smaller thingy at the very beginning or end of each link. Like the small icon at the end of external link in Wikipedia:
but instead with a little cog-wheel or so :)
I think this would make user experience much less confusing and would clean up the overall look of a page.
