India is really doing a great job in vaccinating its large population. But the demand is more than supply, because of this it is very difficult for everyone to keep track of when the vaccines are available when it gets out of stock. And also, travelling to the vaccination center can be risky if we don't have our own private vehicle.

Scheduling vaccines can be online through CoWin. But we will get to know the availability of vaccines only when we look for it. There is no push notification system that would notify users when Vaccines are available, so they can book as fast as possible.

Developing this feature would be straightforward since CoWin is integrated with Aarogya setu already (as it supports Sign-in through the app).

Another alternative:
If push notifications are not possible, we can think of adding a map interface in the Arogya setu app that would show the near real time view of how vaccines are distributed across centers nearest to my location. This would also help in easy scheduling as I don't have to know the names of these vaccination centers in prior and I can choose the best nearby location for getting vaccinated.

There is already a bot which sends push notifications to registered users, you can check here, but since this is a third party service we don't know how much we can trust it.

I think this feature is more or less implementable as Arogya setu has all the information of the user and the app has access to location coordinates as well.
