, i tried his nvim configuration but it doesnt seem to be like the one in the demo, like how his cursor can dash like that, and the font change in certain things

Ah gotcha! The font is https://github.com/subframe7536/maple-font
I don't remember if the cursive comment font is also affected by my Neovim theme, but I'm using https://github.com/rose-pine/neovim
My Neovim config is pinned on my profile too 🙂
