Overview
The NCR#1 initiative orients around pushing the frontiers on privacy-first and provable emails, breaking data out of silos and in turn unlocking innovative use cases unachievable until now.
As a strong believer in the vision, Aztec Labs is sponsoring a total of $80,000 in grants to support two selected teams to research and build their foresights on zkEmail with Noir proposed.
After careful consideration in partnership with the ZK Email team, we are excited to share that the following 2 project teams will be supported with the grants and audit sponsorships to research and realize their ideas:
Selected Proposals
Mach 34 - Z-Imburse: Proactive Reimbursement for Crypto-Native Organizations
The Mach 34 team sets out to power cryptographic reimbursements with proofs of email receipts from popular services (e.g. ride hailing, flights, cloud hosting) for companies and organizations, rethinking the traditionally slow and bureaucratic process.

Oxorio - Safe Wallet Anonymous Email Management Module
The Oxorio team sets out to power email-based private multisigs with proofs of authentication emails, combining the simplicity of emails and the power of Zero-Knowledge proofs to unlock intuitive, privacy-first multisig wallets.

What’s next
For selected project teams
Savio will reach out for an NCR#1 kickoff call; in the meantime, feel free to check out the recent ZK Email Noir library and start exploring your proposed idea.
Questions welcome if you come across any.
For all project teams
Your passion and support for NCR#1 has been amazing! Your responses have overwhelmingly and exponentially exceeded what we anticipated when we were planning the initiative.
NCR is just one of the many ways to start your explorations with Noir. You can also start from:
Just to name a few. Let us bring the world ZKPs and privacy.

Acknowledgements
I would love to thank all researchers and developers that have submitted a proposal. The exceptional bar of quality shown has made the selection of proposals to sponsor a very tough decision. Looking forward to working with you all in the Noir ecosystem.
Thank you to ZK Email for advising and supporting the initiative.
Thank you to Aztec Labs, ConsenSys Diligence, Nethermind Security, OpenZeppelin and Veridise for the generous support sponsoring the selected proposals of this campaign.
What’s next with NCR
Stay tuned for the next NCR that Aztec Labs will be sponsoring in the upcoming months.
At the same time NCR is also an open platform first and foremost for all grassroot Noir research, where all are welcome to leverage it to host Noir research initiatives.
If you have questions and/or want support starting an NCR (e.g. have an idea but lacking resources, want to support NCRs but not sure how), do not hesitate to chat with Savio.
