Description
Supported participants are often asked to pay various expenses with the promise that the supporter will later reimburse them, but this can be problematic for many participants who may not be able to spend the needed money.
To address this sponsors should pay as many expense directly as possible, such as flights, hotel (and hotel deposit), etc.
For expenses that cannot be paid directly, systems like Ramp allow the creation of virtual credit cards that can be given to supported participants. The expenses on these credit cards can then be paid by the sponsor.
