Input-* icons actually app icons?

Are the needed in the app icons?
We already have got device/status icons of the same names in Numix base.

If I'm remembering correctly, these used to appear in the GNOME, Mint, etc as app-like icons when you searched things like "Wacom settings". For a while though, GNOME at least has displayed settings sections differently.

I don't know if my memory is right on this though, and I haven't used any DE except GNOME for a long time so wouldn't know if other DEs have made similar changes.

Can say the same about DE usage for myself. I somewhat dread giving a Numix a spin on modern KDE, might be a terrible mess.
