Hi Prof! I was just wondering, let's say that the that after editing the applications save files, the app crashes on launch. I would assume that somebody who would go into the save files and edit data there, they would most likely be an experienced user already. As such, they would be not as common in in the user pool.

From the module website, it was stated that a medium severity bug is one which causes occasional convenience to the user, but they can continue to use the product, while a high severity bug inconveniences most users with major issues - making the product unusable, which I assume crashes the product.

In the example given however, where an experienced user edits the save files and causes the product to stop working, I feel that it would fall between the medium and high range, as it only affects a small group of people, but when it happens, it stops the product from working. As such, I am wondering which level of severity should I lean towards?

You can choose medium or high for this; how and what you justify matters in the final decision.
