panel disappears when plugging in external monitor on hyprland[BUG]

Describe the bug
I'm running a laptop with hyprland on Arch and use the nwg-panel. When plugging in an external monitor on HDMI port the panel disappears. ps shows the panel is still running.

To Reproduce
plugin monitor on HDMI port
run ps | grep nwg-panel to show it's still running

Expected behavior
panel should be visible when plugging in monitor

Desktop (please complete the following information):

• Arch Linux
• hyprland 0.34.0-1
• nwg-panel version 0.9.22
