I think PSP port would be great, and I want to gauge the difficulty of creating a PSP port of nxengine-evo or any interest in creating one.

First, you need to make sure that sdl2 still works on psp (and fix/update if it's not).

Update: after tinkering around with latest psp sdk, i can sadly state that it's heavily broken rn:

  • pthreads are broken (toolchain buildscripts silently install only headers as lib fails to build due to conflict with newlib headers)
  • newlib is way outdated, so there's no c++11 support.

So unless that's fixed on pspsdk side - port is fairly impossible.
