cannot add components below a space

Users need to be able to add components below a space, like you can on any other component in an editable component list. Since spaces are suppressing the component selector for the space itself, this is not possible.

This is happening because the clay-space component's template has the attribute data-kiln-hidden="true". Removing this fixes the bug. However, the Edit experience is not great.

The children component take up the entire parent component and makes it hard to hover over the parent component.
