"Show Preprocessed Document" resulted in an error

I tried to use this command in a project where I recall it working at some point, but it doesn't seem to anymore.

In "Extension Host" output, the following message appears:

[error] [0,[248,"Failure",-3],"input_value: truncated object 67443  67489"] ocaml.show-preprocessed-document {"value":"ocamllabs.ocaml-platform","_lower":"ocamllabs.ocaml-platform"}

This seems like some mismatch on marshaling the parsetree I guess, but I don't really understand why that is. I have compiled the project in the same local switch as is active in the extension.
