I'll reply quickly now here. Most of the effort on our part has been deciphering the papers in an attempt to get something working. If I remember correctly, the go-reconcile repository written in Go is more complete. For documentation on how it works I'll recommend the associated talk "What's the difference? Set reconcilation without prior context"

If you have a specific question I can attempt to answer here later and work to include it into some documentation.
