Emergent session: "BIDS townhall" #4
Comments
@mnoergaard for PET |
Hi @Remi-Gau, would there be space to talk about the BIDS connectivity project as well? Cheers, Peer |
I think we can squeeze that in. Each BEP will get some time as well so you can also split your time across those. |
Ok cool, thanks. Any chance this could be done in a block or are you going by number? |
IMO going by theme instead of strict order makes sense. |
Hi there, thanks for submitting this session. We have allocated emergent session 1, Sunday 25th 10:30-11:30, to this topic. If you send me an email I can provide you with more information: [email protected]. Looking forward to meet you in Montreal. Best, Selma |
thanks for letting us know @slugtmeijer ! 🚀 |
@slugtmeijer I was just putting stuff into a calendar and realized you said that above, but Sunday is the 23rd. Did you mean Sunday the 23rd or Tuesday the 25th? On the OHBM schedule it looks like there's already an OSR panel 4 at that time on Tuesday the 25th. |
Sorry, I meant Sunday the 23rd! We’d much appreciate it if you could send slides and other presentation material, preferably but not necessarily before the session. This can be send to [email protected] and [email protected] |
Here is the streaming link to your emergent session, distribute it widely 🤓 |

Emergent sessions number 1
Preference to get an earlier session during the conference.
Short description and the goals for the session
The Brain Imaging Data Structure (BIDS) is a community-led effort to standardize how we organize and describe neuroimaging data. BIDS currently supports multiple neuroimaging modalities, such as MRI, MEG, EEG, iEEG, PET, microscopy, and many more under active development. Our community is large and spread across disciplines and domains. In this Town Hall event we plan to announce recent BIDS achievements and updates from the BIDS extension proposal working groups. After announcements, we will open the Town Hall to public comment and questions. Representatives of the BIDS Steering and Maintainers groups will be present to respond to questions. We are eager to discuss the state and future of BIDS as a community standard!
