I was thinking of opening the same issue but you beat me to it. I can confirm this problem is happening on Windows 11 and Debian (both deb and Flatpak) on OpenComic v1.5.0. It works fine on v1.4.1. I remember reading something in the changelogs about reworked navigation, probably that's what introduced the regression.

Hey, Thanks for the quick fix, I just installed the Windows version and can confirm that both Esc and Backspace key work fine for navigation. Great software btw.
