Omakub installation fails

Omakub installation fails near the final stage when installing/configuring GNOME extensions, specifically TopHat.

There is also an installation failure when selecting additional languages/packages, which occurs around the PHP installation step. The other language/package options install successfully.

Additionally, when running:

source ~/.local/share/omakub/install.sh

the installation process starts, but the terminal closes automatically within a few seconds.

I just faced that issue with Obsidian installation failed due latest version doesn't have .deb package in release assests but either set previous version installation failed and close terminal, so I removed ~/.local/share/omakub/install/desktop/app-obsidian.sh and installation finished with no issues

I was having the same issue at obsidian, the obsidian installer links needs to be changed, so here is what worked for me,

go to cd ~/.local/share/omakub/install/desktop then replace all of it by,

OBSIDIAN_URL=$(curl -s https://obsidian.md/download | grep -oE 'https?[^"]+\.deb[^"]*' | head -1)

wget -O obsidian.deb "$OBSIDIAN_URL"
sudo apt install -y ./obsidian.deb
rm obsidian.deb

save it, then run the below one

cd ~/.local/share/omakub/install/desktop
chmod +x app-obsidian.sh
./app-obsidian.sh

then restart omakub installation script by doing source ~/.local/share/omakub/install.sh

it will work properly now
