System details
NVIDIA 5060 Ti, Omarchy 4 Quattro
What's wrong?
Describe the problem
When attempting to boot the Omarchy installer on systems equipped with newer NVIDIA 50xx series graphics cards, the system hangs and drops straight to a hard black screen.
Workaround / Fix
Adding nomodeset to the installer's GRUB configuration parameters resolves the display hang and allows the installer to boot successfully.
For the ISO build tooling, the file that needs adjustment sits at this path:
ISO_ROOT/
└── boot/
└── grub/
└── grub.cfg
Proposed Solution
Because hardcoding nomodeset globally would degrade the display resolution and hardware acceleration for Intel, AMD, and older NVIDIA users, it would be ideal to provide a dual-entry GRUB menu (or a dedicated "Safe Mode / NVIDIA" boot option) with nomodeset built-in so 50xx users can select it when booting the ISO.
See modified file attached. Lines 49, 54-59 specifically. I had to rename .cfg to .txt in order to attach.
grub.txt
