As we can assign value to a node, can It be possible to be a link to another node on the mindmap?
Make it easier to reference info already present elsewhere.

I think this has to be specified in more detail. How exactly is this supposed to work? How is the link visualized? What are the (UI) means of linking?

I'd see the classical shortcut icon at the end of the node (where there is the un/fold icon) and clicking it, it would center the screen on the linked node, unfolding parents as necessary.

Looks good to me. What about the process of creating the link?

I'd add an option on the right panel "make this node a link", and then, a middle click or else on the target to link both nodes. This would enable the user to unlink by deactivation the option on the right panel.
