Why (Objective)

  • Long-term, compiler makes it much easier to evolve the language while maintaining backwards compatibility.
  • Add functionality to the compiler & VM POC, so that we can compare performance with Interpreter for token transfer.

How will we measure success (Key Results)

  • Compare compiler and VM performance.
  • Define next milestone & estimate effort.
