This information is not an issue within the package per se but falls under the category of a newly released function that might be of interest to the maintainer of a package. The information provided is meant to facilitate package development and/or provide new ways of thinking in the construction of R package functionality.

The following function was recently released in a package titled 'SimDesign:'

• Function Name: convertWarnings
• Purpose: A wrapper designed to convert all/specific warning messages into errors within the construction of a function

Great share. I just looked at the R code for convertWarnings. Pretty cool idea there. I didn't realize that withCallingHandlers serves the same purpose as tryCatch.
