The README references and ePub. Was one ever produced?

Great catch, @bexelbie. At one time, we did have ePub versions of the materials. However, we recently released a new edition of the book and haven't been able to create an ePub version of that new edition. Have you made one? If so, please do consider submitting a pull request!

I've toyed with a pure Calibre conversion ... will compare some outputs.

Thanks, @bexelbie. You will also find an up-to-date ePub version of the Guide to IT Culture Change in that project's repository. Perhaps that will serve as a useful example, too.
