Description

opentelemetry depends on an older version of importlib-metadata (6.0.0). The current version is 6.6.0.

Dependabot flagged our project as using an older version of importlib-metadata, but we cannt update until opentelemetry-api is updated.

Please update opentelemetry-api to use importlib-metadata 6.6.0 or newer.
