how to pip install python package when doing a CMake superbuild?

Is it possible to pip install the Python openpmd-api package when doing a CMake superbuild?

This would be very useful for end users of our code who wouldn't have to worry about separately installing the Python package, whose version may or may not match that of the openPMD submodule that the C++ code was built against.
