Paper candidates for robot-laboratory tasks

Last screened: 2026-10-07. Candidate count: 23.

This is a lightweight discovery list of papers that may support future robot-laboratory task design. Every entry is a CANDIDATE, not a fully read source, reviewed task design, converted task, runnable experiment or asset package. Candidates do not change the repository's reviewed-design or task-package counts.

Scope: experimental papers in Nature, journals whose full titles begin with Nature, or Science. npj journals are excluded. This batch focuses on nonbiological mechanics, materials, fabrication and measurement.

Screening and access limits

  • All seven linked official publisher pages were opened on the screening date. Titles, journal names, publication years and DOIs were checked; abstracts and selected Methods passages were screened for concrete experimental work
  • OA means the publisher labels the article Open Access. Main HTML access does not establish access to every supplement or permission to reuse every source component
  • Complete papers, PDFs, supplementary information, movies, code and raw datasets have not been fully reviewed for this list. No paper-level completeness or reproducibility claim is made
  • Suitability descriptions are preliminary inferences. They identify possible task structure, not extracted operating procedures or evidence that a robot can perform the work
  • Exact DOIs and titles were checked against the existing repository and previously accepted task-design inventory to avoid duplicate candidate entries
  • The entangled-network and polymer-inspired-metamaterials pages list CC BY-NC-ND 4.0. Their inclusion is a citation and discovery record, not permission to adapt or redistribute their source content. Other source-component rights require their own check before reuse

Further source review and task conversion are separate work. This list adds no operating parameters, biological-engineering procedures, 3D assets or experimental execution claims.

Additional candidate titles: optics, fluids and mechanics (2026-10-07)

Five additional CANDIDATES are listed below. The original seven entries and their screening notes above are retained. These additions have metadata, abstract and selected experimental-section screening only; they add no reviewed or converted task designs.
