Describe the bug
When a user with the apporpriate permissions edits the title of an existing serie it does get saved correctly but when one of the caching options is activated in the config of the plugin this change does get shown correctly. See screencast for detailled description of the issue:
Have one of the caching option activated in the config of the plugin
Change the title of an existing series and hit on "Save"
See error
Expected behavior
Also with active caching option: The change of the title of a series should be directly shown in the title.
Environment (please complete the following information):
ILIAS version: v8.14 2024-08-13
Plugin version: 8.2.8
Opencast version: v16
Browser: Firefox
Additional context
I vaguely remember that we have talked about synchronisation issues when we implemented/edited the caching functionality of the plugin. And I am aware that it we might need to discuss what is more important: higher performance when loading series especially with many videos or continious synchronisation of the metadata of series and events.
