Format of cutting information

@wsmirnow suggested moving on from smil files to store cutting information towards a custom json. I don't think smil's are being mentioned here right now. Do you think this (= the data model draft) is the right place for discussing this? @LukasKalbertodt

I'm still a fan of not re-inventing the wheel and using standards where appropriate. Instead of rolling our own, why not look into EDL (Edit Decision List) formats? This is a universal file format understood by all major NLEs. So the benefit would even be that we could export/import from major video editors. I only searched briefly, but the format seems to be fairly easy. Certainly easier than supporting the full SMIL spec.
