Dev Updates

• New release of [email protected] (v2.4.0 #500)
  • What's new:
    • Deployment with Hardhat
    • Improvements for the deployment task with better logs & caching
    • Signing transactions with external accounts (Google KMS)
    • The tutorial was updated to use the latest release as well

Adapters

• In the last community call we briefly talked about how the community could help the project with new features and enhancements. One of the ideas was adding new adapters, but it would be important to track who is working on what.
• We shared an open document with a bunch of adapters, but also we started adding some Github tickets with adapters that can be implemented.
• If you want to contribute to tribute-contracts, and you are not really sure how you can help, we think it is a good way to start. You just need to add a comment to the ticket to indicate you want to work on that.

Suggestions

  • Automation tool created to solve payout issues
  • The team has received grants from harmony, are currently testing ideas, deep-diving into DAOs
  • Recently, the team started moving from application tooling to infrastructure tooling. The idea is not only to integrate with web2 solutions through their app but also to provide an infrastructure layer that works as a relayer.
  • The key difference from their relayer solution to other relayers is that it would be integrated with web2 APIs as well, so you can expand the automation of web3 tasks with web2 additional resources.
  • Collab with Tribute
    • The goal is to understand what can be automated, and helpful for the DAO operation
    • As a first iteration and practical application, their team will come up with a new adapter. It will be based on CouponOnboarding.sol, so DAO operators can use Grindery.io to automate the DAO onboarding process and create some sort of batch onboarding.
