Background: #278

  • mmrm fits nicely when data has non-observed pairs even with unstructured covariance matrix
  • but not surprisingly the non-observed covariance values can then not reliably be estimated (seem biased)

Idea: We could

  • check the dataset
  • for non-observed pairs of observations
  • and only when the unstructured covariance matrix is used
  • then "blank out" the non-observed pairs in the covariance matrix when it is displayed
