Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
Managing the OpenSearch installation via the package manager apt under Debian/Ubuntu is a better way for the version control and especially any future updates.

Hey @leowinterde, with apt OpenSearch can also be installed, can you please check this https://opensearch.org/docs/latest/install-and-configure/install-opensearch/debian/ ?
