Branding for OSS projects #6

Yes! A) that looks great. B) I totally think there's space for that here. Maybe the repository gets renamed branding? What do you think of uploading the files that you made for this to the repository? It'd be cool if we could tag things somehow so that things are find-able in different ways, so maybe we do this through markdown posts that use tags? cc @bnvk |

Cool, so maybe as the solution for now (so that we have your samples here) do you want to upload the files to a folder you create here? https://github.com/opensourcedesign/logos/tree/master/branding (You can create a folder by clicking on add a file, and then in the name field type in a folder name followed by the file name. Yah @rynarud that's super nice work :D

Changing the name of the repo and adding more branding related design
swatches and photos like you did (an OSD Dribble) is a nice idea :)
This is a bit different from what I envisioned for this repo. Issue #5 is
basically the original idea- a utility / tool for designers to use. Perhaps
resolving @jdorfman goals before renaming is needed?

Having a brag board / collection of finished designs is a neat idea! What are
some names and terms of how to fit this on the current site?

This is something much needed for various sections. As I understand, there
are two ways:
1. Use YAML files in `/_data` directory [like this](https://github.com/bnvk/brennannovak.com/tree/master/_data)
2. Use front matter with empty content in [Jekyll collections](https://jekyllrb.com/docs/collections/)
Option 2. is probably better as people can add simple files with the
content!

It's a great idea to collect OSS logos in one place. However, is there a possibility to publish branding (redesigns etc) for OSS projects here? Or should I go to dribbble or somewhere with this kind of stuff?
For example, logo and stickers for a JS conf. It was made for gratis.
