Yes. I'm using it now. Extract and set-up the latest Optiscaler pre7.7 build, alongside the FFXVI.exe. Then add the FSR4.dll 'amdxcffx64.dll' to that same location. If you don't have it from your driver already, you can download it directly from AMD https://download.amd.com/dir/bin/amdxcffx64.dll/ Now run the game. In the game's native graphics menus, select FSR3 as the upscaler technology. Optionally, enable the game's native FSR3 frame gen. Now, load into game play, otherwise Optiscaler won't detect any upscaler input. When you are in-game, press Insert to open Optiscaler's menu, under Upscalers, select FSR 3.X and press Apply. It should automatically detect the FSR4 DLL you had added and say 'DirectX 12 - FSR 4.0.0 Source API: FFX-DX12'. Optionally, check the box for 'FSR Non-linear PQ Input' it improved anti-aliasing for me, see if it does for you. then press Save INI at the bottom and close the Optiscaler menu. If this is your first time playing the game you may also want to download FFXVIFix (https://github.com/Lyall/FFXVIFix), it removes the 30FPS cap on in-game realtime cutscenes. |
