If on AMD/Intel and Automated, used DLSS inputs?

  • Yes
  • No
  • This is actually not an option on the Linux automated install. The .ini file says DLSS inputs are set to auto.

I tried DLSS Quality, Balanced and Performance modes at 3840x2160 display resolution. The issue persists across all options.

Did you check the Wiki and Compatibility List?

  • Yes
  • No

Please describe the issue and steps to reproduce it

The stage DESCENT INTO SUBCONSCIOUS - which is prominent in both online gameplay and in the story mode - shows severe graphical artifacts on using Optiscaler FSR4 on the second floor. This can be reproduced by going to training mode, choosing the stage, and selecting the restart position as below:

On initial load, the stage seems fine, however, as soon as any of the windows on the sides of the stage come into view, the entire screen flashes bright white to black rapidly and makes the game unplayable. Please see the video at the link below:

Troubleshooting attempts

Selecting the option Non-linear sRGB Input reduces the flickering, but it comes back within a minute or so, but instead of the whole screen flashing, the artifact changes to huge black squares appearing and blocking the view. Selecting the option Non-linear PQ Input gets rid of the issue, but corrupts the colours on screen (the flames on the candles turn black instead of white, characters get coloured differently, etc.). Neither option fixes the issue. The issue does not persist on choosing FSR 2.x variants in the dropdown menu.

I have attached

  • OptiScaler.log (set LogLevel=0 and LogToFile=true in OptiScaler.ini, zip it if too big)
