Can the GitBook toolbar be hidden on published sites? Is it displayed for all users, even those without access to GitBook?

I just noticed that on our published sites, the following GitBook toolbar displays on every page.

I'm not sure if it displays for me because it knows that I have an account, or if it always displays for every user. If the former, then it's annoying but OK.

If it always displays for everyone that views the site, then that is a problem, because none of our customers have any access to view or update anything in GitBook. They are only able to view the site. So the toolbar is just covering content for no reason.
