When using the Moonlight client with the following configuration:

• Resolution: 540p vs 1440p
• Bitrate: 0.5Mbps (constant)
• Encoding: H.265 (HEVC)

Observed behavior:
The 540p stream exhibits severe macroblocking artifacts making text illegible, while the 1440p stream maintains surprisingly readable text clarity.

Technical contradiction:

1. H.265's efficiency should theoretically allow:
   • 540p: ~500-800kbps for acceptable quality
   • 1440p: Requires ≥5Mbps for basic readability
2. Current observation inverts this relationship:
   • Higher resolution achieves functional clarity at 1/10th the expected bitrate
   • Lower resolution fails catastrophically under identical conditions
