How to get the most out of this forum

This Free-Support Forum is here to support the QP family of real-time embedded frameworks and related host-based tools, such as QM or QTools. Everyone is welcome to ask related questions, make suggestions and leave comments. However, to make the most out of this forum, please heed the following guidelines:

• Before making a post, please use the search box (on the top-left) to see if your problem has already been addressed. Be creative and use your imagination when searching for the keywords related to your problem. Chances are that you will find relevant information immediately without even asking the question!
• When you decide to create a new topic, be as specific as you can, both in the title and body of the post. Think in terms of the keywords that people like you will be using to search your post in the future. The better a problem is described, the better the assistance tends to be and the more likely you will receive a fast and relevant response.
• If possible, name the specific framework type (e.g., QP/C, QP/C++, QM, etc.) or the port (e.g., Cortex-M, POSIX, etc.) in the title.
• Always mention the version of the software you are referring to (e.g., QP/C 5.9.4). Also, if applicable please describe the microcontroller and toolset (e.g., ARM-KEIL, IAR, GNU, etc.) you are using.
• Please make your post concise and to the point. Try to distill the issue to short snippets of code and format them with the codify tags.
• If posting state machine design problems, try to distill the issue to a small QM model that you can attach to your post. Alternatively, attach a state diagram exported from QM.
• Describe what you have tried already, so that you don't get replies suggesting what you already know.
• Whenever possible, include instructions on how to reproduce the issue.
