I found the issue, and have pushed an update. It will self-update. You may need to open the settings window a few times to allow it to update. Thank you for bringing this to our attention!

For the first time using the settings page, it needs to download from the internet - can you try again - but give it a moment to load... there is supposed to be a load-indicator... i guess that's failing.
After that the settings loads from cache, and just updates in the background.

Oh, no I mean it should only take an extra second. Sorry about this.
There is a network call to our provision service at this point. We try to keep all network calls to https//.siperb.com/ but the provision requests are different. This call is directly to a Lambda https://<function_id>.lambda-url.eu-west-1.on.aws/

If you have strict internet or have to configure access on your http proxy, then both these URLs should be added.

Ah, yes, Asterisk doesn't support JWT. We remove this on the web version, but i have not pulled that update out to the other platforms.

Will happen through to the day today. Will be part of the auto-update. Just need to restart app a few times.

Although im running my developer version, it's the same code - as you can see its registering fine.
It could be that you have to close-and-open the phone. Give it a moment once open, It updates only on startup, after the initial view.

registration of user 602 now works fine but registration with user guestuset doesn't connect to asterisk and log is empty.
credintials identical besides the name and password...

checked - in web version siperb connection with guestuser still working...

and one more issue - i cannot make video-call anymore :(
webcam preview in settings works fine but there are no "videocall" button...

Oh.. yes, sorry - the video is not enabled yet for the Desktop or Mobile apps. Sorry for that, we are busy with this roll out at the moment. This should be released in the next two weeks.

For the Desktop phone, there is a bit of a quirk... since it works offline - i has very good caching, so this can mess with provisioning a bit, and may take a few restarts to clear it up. If you switching users often it can revert to the cache copy at startup. ITs designed more to be setup as a single user and remain like that.

single user will do fine in the end, i'm switching now for testing purposes.

one more thing - what about contacts list upload/sync from outlook/ldap/carddav ?
and another thing - what about text message send/reseive with desktop softphone? web looks good as always :)

Contact Sync is something on the development roadmap. The main problem is privacy problems from iOS and Android - they simply will not accept contact sync any more (or they make it very difficult). We will more than likely have some sort of company directory that you would setup/configure or even just upload within the Admin Control Panel. This will provision down to users.

Then, text messages... so with text messaging we have some exciting options lined up. Firstly, text messaging with Asterisk is an awkward option... but, when you think about it, what you actually want is to be able to send a message to your client etc via an "know" channel, like SMS / WhatsApp / Telegram / etc. We will be developing a number of "Adapters" that will fully support these and other platforms. The option of actually texting someone from Asterisk-Extension to Asterisk-Extension comes with a number of problems - so Siperb-to-Siperb text messages may be handled for you simply using some of our own built-in tools.

Note: The current "Browser Phone" (that you are using in the web at /phone/ will be updated to the same code-base as the Desktop app, as soon as they are matching (or close) in functionality.

text messages in browser softphone working well now. no need to change anything - just push what you already have to application :)

and no... i don't need to text to sms\telegram\whatsapp (i don't throw away such a feature but it's not mandatory) i need asterisk to asterisk and it's already done in webphone
