How to add your project/program to Zigistry?

Just add zig-package tag(aka topic) to your repo, it would automatically be added to the website as a package

I'm a little unclear on what to list my Zig package as: https://github.com/adworacz/zsmooth

It's a plugin for the video processing framework Vapoursynth. So it's a "library", but not for other Zig code. So then should it be a "program", but it doesn't execute on its own...

Thanks a lot for contributing to the Zig community, If you have a doubt wether to add your work to zig package or zig program, lets think about something.

when I google, "what is a computer package for a programming language"

and when I google, "what is a computer program for a programming language"
I get the following results:

Hence "package for a programming language" being a library dedicated to a programming language.
Hence "program for a programming language" being set of instructions for a computer can be anything written in a programming language.

Answer:

Hence "package for Zig" being a library dedicated to Zig (that can be imported into other Zig packages/programs).
And "program for Zig" being a set of instructions that a computer executes that is written in Zig.

Hence a plugin for a framework would lang in the "program" category.

(Wooh, this felt like a research paper 😅)
