I have no objection to the proposed marketing budget and overall direction—. This plan looks strong for driving Akash's visibility and positioning in the broader AI and Web3 ecosystems. However, I’d like to highlight a complementary need around community growth—especially with the Regional Leads program (outlined in the upcoming Community Programs Proposal – Q3/Q4 2025 Suggested Consideration:
From my perspective in India, we can execute impactful regional marketing campaigns—including local meetups, dev outreach, and educational efforts—for $3,000–$4,000 USD per quarter. This is a fraction of the overall budget, but can go a long way in building grassroots momentum. As the community grows globally, having empowered, well-funded Regional Leads will amplify Akash's on-the-ground presence and drive adoption where it matters. I encourage the OCL team to consider how regional efforts and the global strategy can work in sync, and maybe earmark a portion of the marketing funds accordingly. |

Over the last four months, Overclock Labs has validated its growth strategy by investing $750,000 USD to onboard new resources, partners, and kick off the outlined initiatives. These Growth/Marketing resources have been integrated directly into the Overclock core team on a daily basis across the key focus areas. As such, The Overclock Labs’ Core Team has thoroughly vetted the resources, platforms, and programs outlined in this proposal, which we are now submitting for community review as we continue to build on these efforts.

These initiatives will build on the success of current efforts while also deploying new strategies and tactics.
Digital Advertising: increase awareness and drive new users. Akash will deploy targeted digital campaigns that reach the right audiences. By leveraging omnichannel marketing across Google, Twitter, LinkedIn, Twitch, and Programmatic channels.
Video Content: promote Akash, better explain the marketplace, and improve user experience.
Website Update: Front-end website for Akash to better highlight the platform, modernize the brand, and showcase ecosystem projects using expanded resources. These efforts will supplement the foundational work from HoomanHQ by adding content, structure, and design efforts. The redesigned site will better showcase Akash’s core differentiator as the premier decentralized GPU compute marketplace for AI. Content and layout will be structured to directly address AI developers, startups, and enterprise customers. The website will be tightly integrated with marketing automation and sales workflows to enable robust attribution and performance tracking across all user journeys.
Brand & Messaging Update: Top-tier branding agency to update the Akash brand and messaging to better convey the project, platform, and ecosystem. This project will include:
Email Marketing: As Akash expands to the broader AI ecosystem, we will be building out an email marketing team for user experience and community updates.
Partnership Marketing: Forming partnerships with top-tier organizations in the developer community to host webinars and engage their community to grow the ecosystem.
Growth Program KPI’s (updated quarterly)
The following statistics will be tracked, updated, and reported for transparency and accountability. Other metrics may be included over time.
Limited Market Impact & Transparent Reporting
Overclock Labs will custody the requested funds in a new, distinct wallet so that funds from any other source are not commingled.
All funds will be liquidated and managed in a manner that ensures minimal impact on the market. These funds will be handled with the same care and attention as all previous Community Funding Proposals, with liquidations done in a fashion that will not adversely affect the market. In practice, the effort of this liquidation will add depth to the AKT market for buyers looking to enter.
