How to update the Base URL of Clients

I tried to setup the whole project again in a new VM after setting up and creating the initial user. I was not able to login, it redirects to some localhost URL but I want that URL to my VM IP.

The attached SS is when I opened up the browser inside VM as I was not able to access keycloak outside the VM due to redirection problems

I am stuck here as I want to update the Base URL to my VM IP. Any properties or configurations that I need to update. Thanks

How can I override the localhost IP to VM IP while building the project and before running the APIMan? Thanks

I think you should have a look at the documentation of Keycloak (https://www.keycloak.org/documentation).
This is not apiman related and we cannot provide you much support with that.

If you look at the Keycloak documentation then you will find that you can set the redirect URLs to allow your IP/hostname or perhaps even something more permissive that allows redirects from multiple different URLs or URL patterns (e.g. by use of wildcard * and + operator).

I'm in mobile right now, so more difficult to look up the exact link but should be fairly easily located in Keycloak documentation.

Also if you are trying to make a production-grade Apiman, it's worth splitting out Apiman and Keycloak into separate containers.

You may want to alter the Keycloak UI URL parameter on the Keycloak docker image. That will allow you to tell it that your public hostname isn't just "localhost". Check out the Keycloak docker hub docs for that.

In the near future we will be looking to release docker compose files that might be helpful to you.

this may be useful inspiration in addition to what Florian and I have suggested above. Please note this is from the tests and thus just an example, don't assume it's a production grade config at all.

Thanks @msavy @volkflo for the references, but I think i couldnt explain my problem very well.
I have attached a screenshot for reference.
I am able to access the following in my browser but when I click on administration console it redirects to http://127.0.0.1/auth/admin

Similarly when I try to access apimanui using VM-IP:port/apimanui it also redirects to localhost IP. Thats why I thought I might need to update BASE URL.

Also I have updated auth-server-url in /apiman/distro/vertx/src/main/resources/overlay/configs/conf-es.json file

The issue was related to reverse proxy on my end. Thank you @volkflo and @msavy for the support.
