You don't need sudo for this — a .dmg installs fine from the Terminal entirely in user space. Mount it, copy the app out, then unmount: Copying to ~/Applications (your home folder) needs no admin rights. Adjust the .dmg filename and the /Volumes/... name if yours differ — run |

How can I use just the terminal and no sudo commands to open the .dmg file in Mac Terminal. Ive tried other ways and it wont work.
