Why Is Custom Domain Breaking Github Pages Site?

I am using Github actions to deploy a personal website on Pages. Everything works great when the site is being hosted on Pages. I followed all of the steps to link a custom domain (from GoDaddy) to my hosted site on pages. Once the DNS check went through and pages said it was hosting my site at my custom domain I clicked on it only to find a blank page. When I go to the console I can see my index.html page is showing up, but nothing else. Also In the console it says I am getting a bunch of 404 errors. What can I do to make sure everything renders on the page properly?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

*Before buying a domain, the link matchur.github.io/myWebsite was working normal...
