I'm reaching out to inquire if there is an option or a planned feature to enhance the visual representation of individual steps within a GitHub Actions workflow job. Currently, the UI shows a clear structure for separate jobs, each presented in its own box, with status indicators that make it easy to track each job's progress.
However, within each job, the steps are displayed in a list format without the same distinct separation or visual layout that jobs have. This can make it challenging to get a quick overview of each step’s status, especially in complex workflows with many steps.
Would it be possible to add a feature where each step within a job is displayed in a separate box, similar to how jobs are visualized, or with an enhanced layout that makes tracking individual steps easier? This kind of detailed visualization would be incredibly helpful for monitoring, debugging, and presenting workflows in a clearer, more organized way.
Thank you very much for considering this request, and I look forward to your feedback or any guidance on alternative visualization options for steps.
