After removing the domain still my website is using old domain and website is not getting open.

Hello, I'm vastav,

I've used a custom domain in the domain section in pages, but I wanted to remove it, so I clicked on that button. However, that domain wasn't removed, and now I want to host the website on the github.io domain, but I'm unable to.

Does it take time to change the domain?
Should I do anything else after the "Remove" button is clicked?
