Unable to Create a New Repository from the App – Only Existing Repositories Showing

Hello GitHub community,
I'm experiencing a challenge while trying to create a new repository using [GitHub Mobile App]. The app only shows the two repositories I previously created (“hello my world” and “skill introduction”).

I expected an option to create a new repository, but instead, I only see an option to select from the existing ones and "create an issue."

Could someone please guide me on how to create a new repository directly from the app, or do I have to use the GitHub website for that?

Hi @yusufaz-prog, thanks for reaching out with your feedback! Right now it is not possible to create new repositories from the GitHub Mobile apps, although you can fork public repositories.

I'll add your feature request to our internal tracker and will bring it to the team for future evaluation.
