nvm
seems to be incorrectly installed in codespaces by default.It needs to have code like this in
~/.bashrc
(or alternatives)... but it doesn't.
As a result, each reconnect
node
is default version, not one selected vianvm
— so nvm is constantly forgetting selected node version.The quick fix is to run
~/nvm/install.sh
which adds those lines and restart bash.The proper fix would be to fix this in codespaces =)
