I'm quite sure that I have dealt with all the matters, but Github is still informing me that there are unread notifications.

I have the same issue

These are ghost notifications - and although there is an existing discussion about those, I also think that there is a recent spam attack that is causing more of these (I have received some of them recently).

this is a known issue from years ago, and it resurfaced as I'm seeing a lot of this right now, check this workaround

Came here to report the same issue, against a similarly-named repo: yccombinator/-notification.

Copilot was not able to pinpoint the issue.
