Removing and Adding Top Repositories in start page of Github

Can you allow the user to add and remove top repositories at the start page manually and/or is there a way to do that at the moment? Thanks!

This seems to do nothing for private repositories and you don't have the option of pinning them. I'd love to be able to pin or automatically have repos I actually use available at the top where repos I haven't touched in at least 3 months should be pushed down to the bottom.

Maybe the edit could be that the auto-generated list (excluding priv/pub pins) shows below.

I would personally like to see it receive the interactivity, so the user themselves can decide their top repo and not have it automatically decided for them (or maybe have this as an option.

The GitHub design is just 'we know better, what's best for you' philosophy. Wait, till they add some AI you can't disable... oh, right.

This functionality is just completely broken in my opinion. 4 of the first 7 shown for me have been archived for 4 months with no activity. Surely these should drop to the bottom?

It is even worse, the "Find repository" search field does not search over all your repos, only the ones showing. There is no way to easyly access a repo you want to have direct access

I have a repository that I use daily, it's a fork of a popular repository. I use the fork every day. The upstream repo shows as the first result in the list. My forked repo is 3 "show more" clicks down the list. Can we please have the ability to control this menu?
