Interview with Serge

BD Logistics = a customer who is using barcodes. A barcode was linked to a package. One task = several deliveries.

We can have :

1. 3 packages with 3 different barcodes which goes to the same place/adress and are the same task/order
2. 3 packages which are linked to different task/order

The process is the following :

1. Package arrives in BD logistics warehouse and it is scanned to say it is arrived. A status is picked in the app : package is fine, package is damaged, I am missing some part of the package = BDI codes from international convention. Scan -> Modal open with dropdown.
2. Customer assign to Rayon9 some tasks in Urbantz
3. Task is created in Urbantz before it arrives at Rayon9 warehouse
4. Rayon9 is supposed to scan the package when they arrive at their warehouse to scan them again for reception (special role (= dispatcher?)) + special screen to scan))
5. The task is assigned to a courier
6. Rayon9 scan when they start the delivery by bike
7. Rayon9 scan when they deliver the package // Rayon9 scan if the delivery failed

_Questions :

• Which role is it is to do the reception of the goods ? dispatcher ? or new specific role ?
• When you have event "reception at the warhouse" how it is stored the information "this is this warehouse" ?_

Urbantz

You can select package per package what is required for successful delivery, failed delivery, ... (signature, barcode scan, ...)
-> can it be selected per customer?

SD Roads

A transporter as BD logistics. Wants to know the status of each package anytime -> scan at every step. They use their own software. Urbike has written a python scripts to get all SD roads data into Urbantz (and send back the data to SD Roads). It is a cron job.

Scan screen proposal for dispatcher

1. You see "batches of arrival" list. kinda of a list of tasks OR it opens kinda of take a picture screen where you can scan anything
2. Dispatcher needs to have a screen with the statuses of every parcel (scanned / not scanned)
