Random Bad Gateway errors when trying to insert blocks/ pages

Hi all,

I'm new to Elementor and I hope this is the right forum to ask this.

First a quick overview: just setting up a new website on AWS Lightsail, using the bitnami stack.

I'm using Elementor to design landing pages/ headers etc and I keep getting random 502 Bad Gateway errors. Sometimes it works but most times it doesn't (for the same block/ page).

As a side note, yesterday when I was trying to sign up for pro I was also getting 502 errors and seemed like the subscription part of the Elementor site was down for a while.

Are these errors common? Is anyone else experiencing such issues or there is something wrong with my WP config? I did find the 2 support docs suggesting some config changes but due to the random nature of the errors I don't want to fiddle with the WP config just yet.
